A cisgender woman civil rights and equality activist who moved to arizona in 1970, after sitting on the civil rights commission in 1968, and who was instrumental in the formation of the tucson and arizona women’s commissions; the tucson center for women & children; the arizona women’s hall of fame; participating as a delegate at the 1975 mexico city world conference on the international women’s year and the 1980 copenhagen world conference of the u.n. decade for women.
